The main cookery programme is ‘survival cookery’. This will involve preparing simple everyday meals that people can recreate alone or with limited support.
Each recipe is designed with a limited number of ingredients. Photographic shopping lists and recipes are provided if necessary. These recipes will build up into a cookery book that can be taken home to use independently.
Recipes could include
- Vegetable soup
- Spaghetti bolognese
- Chilli con carne
- Apple crumble
During each recipe, we concentrate on different techniques and discuss any aids and adaptations there are to make cooking as straightforward as possible.
